Terms of Use — Taskpot
Effective August 15, 2026
Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Use govern your use of this website (taskpot.app) and the Taskpot app (together, the "Service"). By accessing the website, creating an account, or using the app, you agree to these Terms.
Description of Service
Taskpot is software that lets you track the status of a service ticket opened for you by a provider, through a QR-based connection between your account and theirs. Taskpot provides the software only — it does not itself perform, supervise, or guarantee any provider's services.
Eligibility
You must be able to form a binding contract to use Taskpot, and you must comply with these Terms and all applicable laws.
Accounts
You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account and to keep your login credentials secure. You're responsible for activity that happens through your account, and you should report any unauthorized access to uanikprojects@gmail.com promptly.
Acceptable Use
Use Taskpot lawfully and respectfully. Don't misuse another person's account or QR code, attempt to access accounts that aren't yours, interfere with the normal operation of the Service, or use information you see on a ticket for anything unrelated to that job.
Your QR Code
Your QR code identifies your Taskpot account to a provider; keep it private and show it only to the provider you want to open a ticket with you. If you believe your QR code has been shown to someone you didn't intend, contact uanikprojects@gmail.com.
Content You Submit
Don't submit content — including any profile information or messages to support — that is unlawful, threatening, abusive, misleading, or that contains private information about someone else without their consent. You allow Taskpot to store and display content you submit as needed to provide the Service.
Provider–Customer Relationship
Taskpot provides the software connecting you and your provider; it is not a party to the underlying service arrangement between you. Taskpot is not responsible for a provider's work quality, pricing, delays, or conduct — disputes about the underlying job are between you and your provider.
Intellectual Property
The Taskpot name, logos, apps, and this website are owned by Taskpot. These Terms don't grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding beyond what's needed to use the Service as intended.
Service Availability and Changes
We may change, suspend, or discontinue features of the Service at any time. We don't guarantee that the website or app will always be available, error-free, or compatible with every device or operating system version.
Suspension and Termination
We may restrict or suspend access to the Service for misuse, security risk, violation of these Terms, or legal reasons. You may request deletion of your account at any time from the app's profile screen.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Taskpot won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from a provider's services, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Taskpot harmless from claims, damages, or expenses arising from your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as Taskpot changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date at the top of this page, and continued use of the website or app after an update means you agree to the revised Terms.
