Privacy Policy

Effective August 15, 2026

Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Taskpot collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information across this website (taskpot.app) and the Taskpot mobile applications. It applies whether you're a customer tracking a service ticket or a provider running jobs through Taskpot.

By visiting this website, creating a Taskpot account, or using either Taskpot app, you acknowledge the practices described here.

What This Policy Covers

This policy covers three things: this marketing website, the Taskpot customer app (used to track service tickets with a provider), and the Taskpot Provider app (used by vendors to create and manage those tickets).

Where a practice applies to only one app, we say so explicitly. Otherwise, assume it applies to both.

Information We Collect

Account information: your name, email address, and authentication records when you sign up or sign in, including via Google or Apple sign-in.

Ticket and job information: QR identifiers, ticket details, item lists, workflow templates, status updates, notes, and pricing information tied to a ticket.

Photos and attachments: providers can attach photos to ticket notes (for example, to document completed work); these are stored as part of the ticket record.

Device and technical information: push notification tokens, app version, and basic device information needed to deliver notifications and keep the apps working correctly.

Communications: anything you send to support, including the content of your message and the email address you send it from.

This website itself does not run a signup flow or collect account information directly — visiting taskpot.app does not create a Taskpot account.

How We Use Information

We use the information above to create and secure accounts, authenticate sign-ins, connect customers and providers on a shared ticket, display ticket and workflow information, send service-related push notifications, provide customer support, prevent misuse of the service, maintain and improve the apps, and comply with applicable law.

We do not use your information to serve you third-party advertising, and we do not run advertising trackers on this website or in either app.

How Information Is Shared

Taskpot does not sell your personal information.

When a provider scans a customer's QR code and opens a ticket, the two parties on that ticket can see the information needed to complete the job — for example, a provider sees the customer's name and job details, and a customer sees the provider's name and the ticket's progress. This sharing is limited to what's needed for the connected ticket.

We share limited information with service providers that operate the infrastructure behind Taskpot — hosting, authentication, and push notification delivery — strictly to provide the service. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Taskpot, our users, or the public.

Cookies and Tracking on This Website

This website does not use advertising cookies, third-party analytics trackers, or cross-site tracking technology. Any cookies used are strictly limited to what's necessary for the site to function.

Data Retention

We retain account and ticket information for as long as needed to operate Taskpot, provide support, resolve disputes, prevent misuse, and meet legal obligations. You can request deletion of your account from within the app's profile screen. Some records may be retained in anonymized form, or as required by law, after deletion.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect account and ticket information, including secure authentication and encrypted connections between the apps and our servers. No online service can guarantee complete security — please keep your account credentials private and let us know at uanikprojects@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

Your Rights and Choices

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you can ask how your information has been used. You can manage notification permissions from your device settings at any time. To make a request, contact uanikprojects@gmail.com.

Children's Privacy

Taskpot is not intended for use by children who are not permitted to use the service under applicable law, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them in violation of applicable law.

International Users

Taskpot is currently operated with users based in India in mind, and information may be processed and stored in India or other locations where our service providers operate. By using Taskpot, you consent to this processing.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Taskpot changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date at the top of this page, and continued use of the website or apps after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy.
